I’ve had a domain for years. At some point a domain becomes a question: what are you actually going to do with this?
The answer, apparently, is this. A place to write when something is worth writing. To put up photographs when I take one worth showing. To think out loud about music and guitars and what it’s like to spend the back half of a career learning entirely new things.
The site is called Mythicaldude. The name predates the site by about fifteen years — it’s an old handle, the kind you pick in an unguarded moment and then find yourself stuck with. It fits well enough. Nobody has ever accused me of taking myself too seriously.
There’s no schedule here. No newsletter. No content strategy. Just a place that exists and occasionally has something in it. If that sounds like your kind of website, welcome.
