I shoot on the street — not in the gear-obsessed, studied way, but in the way of someone who wakes early in a city that rewards it. Saigon mostly. The light at 6 a.m. does things that nothing else does.

I don’t shoot to build a portfolio. I shoot because something catches and it seems a shame to just walk past. Most of it doesn’t make it here. Some of it does.
